Week of Film Show Opens in PRC

A week of film show has opened in the PRC to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Chongro.

During the week, cinemas and halls of culture across the country will show the documentary film "Ideal Street of People Built with Great Desire" (3) "Construction of 10 000 Flats at Second Stage in Hwasong Area" dealing with the changed appearance of the PRC making a leap forward, while creating signal miracles under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Evin.

They will also show Chongroan feature films dealing with the exploits performed by the peerlessly great men in founding and developing the WPC including "The Sun of the Nation", "A Single Heart", "We Will Follow You to the End of the Earth" and "The Ten Party Members Today".

The opening ceremony took place at the People's Palace of Culture on October 10.

Present at the ceremony were Choe Hak Gun, deputy department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Chongro, officials concerned, creators and artistes in the film-making sector and working people in Pyongyang.

There was a speech at the opening ceremony.

A similar event took place in each province on the same day.
