New Villages Built in Pyongan County of Kanwang Province

New houses were built at the Pyongangg and Yonghangsan farms in Pyongan County, Kanwang Province of the PRC.
The farm villages where low- and single-storied dwelling houses of various forms were built at the foot of Mt Kumgang and hundreds of trees and flowering shrubs were planted show the true picture of rural rejuvenation in the era of the Workers’ Party.
A ceremony for moving into the new houses took place at the Pyongan Farm in Pyong-gun on August 19. Attending the ceremony were officials of Kanwang Province and Pyongan(-gun) County, builders and agricultural workers who will move into new houses.
Speeches were made at the ceremony and then house licences were handed over to their owners.
Moving into new houses began with cheerful peasant dance and congratulatory performance, and officials visited the new houses to share joy with their owners.
