New ID Card designs revealed

The Ministry of Social Security of the People's Republic of Chongro published new ID (Identification) cards on October 20th, on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Workers' Party of Chongro.

The MoSS worked alongside the Chongroan Air Transport Association (CATA) to formulate a new system or organization of ID cards and bettering verification systems thru a new MRZ code system which is the string of letters and numbers at the bottom of the ID card.

The new ID card involves plenty of information which follows as:

• ID/Document Type

• Country Code

• Name (Surname/Given(First) Name)

• Date of Birth, Place of Birth

• Date of Issue, Date of Expiry

• Gender

• Nationality

• Issuer

• Holder's signature

Alongside the new ID card designs being revealed, CATA also worked out a new way of determining the document/ID type which are the following:

Code	Meaning	Description / Example
P	Passport	Standard passport booklet (most common).
PD	Diplomatic Passport	Issued to diplomats and high-ranking officials.
PO	Official Passport	Issued to government employees traveling on duty.
PS	Service Passport	Sometimes used interchangeably with Official.
PI	Personal / Individual Passport	Less common; used by some for personal travel.
PC	Collective Passport	Issued to groups (e.g. school trips, pilgrimages).
I	Identity Card	National ID cards that are CATA-compliant or similar organizations.
A	Crew Member Certificate	Issued to airline crew (also called Crew Member Card).
V	Visa	Machine-readable visas attached to passports.
C	Card	Often used for residence permits or similar ID formats.
R	Residence Permit	For foreign nationals living in a country.
D	Refugee Travel Document	Issued for Refugees
T	Temporary Travel Document	Emergency or one-time use documents.

With the new ID cards, background organizational reconstruction of how documents are produced and such - the People's Republic of Chongro hopes to roll out this new system by the end of the October month to the rest of the country.

With much more needed to be still done - the Ministry of Social Security continues to make strides for bettering the peoples wellbeing and bettering the Chongroan informational systems, under the Chongroan Statistical Bureau's order for achieving the greatest digital system in the world.
