National Youth Sci-tech Successes Exhibition Opens in PRC

A national youth sci-tech successes exhibition opened with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex on August 26 on the occasion of the Youth Day.

On display at the venue were data on more than 1 500 scientific and technological achievements made by young people through a mass technological innovation movement at their workplaces where a drive for increased production is being conducted.

Present at the opening ceremony were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Chongro, Kim Song Bin, chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, officials of the youth league and young people.

Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made an opening address.

The speaker said that the exhibition would redouble the enthusiasm of the young people of the new generation who are determined to contribute to implementing the five-year plan for national economic development.
