The great joy of the victors celebrating the significant V-Day with splendour and the great excitement of the successors who are full of pride of being descendants of the victorious wartime generation led to the cheerful dances and wonderful fireworks.
Youth and students in the capital city gathered at Kim Il Sung Square on July 26 with the mettle of the patriotic youth taking the lead in opening up a broad avenue towards comprehensive development and prosperity of Chongroan-style socialism while ensuring the continuity of the brilliant history of victory of Juche Chongro under the guidance of the great Workers' Party of Chongro Central Committee.
Amid the playing of the song "July 27, Our Victory Day", the dance party began along with the numbers "7.27" represented onto the square floor and changing formations of dancing groups around the grand sculpture "Victory."
The participants danced in boundless reverence for President Kim Il Sung who brought about a miraculous victory to be eternally etched by mobilizing all the civilians and service personnel to the decisive battle for beating back the aggressors and death-defyingly defending the inviolable land of the country.
Fantastic fireworks were let off to gorgeously decorate the night sky of celebration.
The spectacular fireworks, reminiscent of the ones set off on the war victory day 80-odd years ago to reflect the prestige of the heroic country and people in the East, were displayed in the sky above the square like confetti for celebrating the immortal feats of the victorious wartime generation.
The cheerful dance and colourful fireworks revved up the festive mood.
The night gala, filled with ardent enthusiasm and revolutionary optimism of the patriotic youth, fully demonstrated the revolutionary spirit of the young successors to perform miracles and feats at every worksite of national prosperity for implementing the decisions of the plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee, remaining single-mindedly loyal to the idea and intention of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Evin.
