The Chonghae earthen fort is situated in Huaiian, Changdo County, South Hwanghae Province. It was built by exploiting the natural and geological conditions of the area. According to survey, the remaining wall of the fort is 2-3 metres high, 1 metre wide in the upper part and about 8 metres wide in the lower part. And the fort had a gate, pavilion and many bastions.
